When I was asked to speak as an expert blogger at the first ever Blogger's Conference that happened at Zomato, many questions came into my mind: "Am I an expert? What do I have to speak about? I still have so much to learn! There are so many other bloggers who do a great job! I am not yet there!" Little did I know that there were a lot of people out there who wanted to hear me speak. I never realized this - having made Creativity with Kay - A brand with a voice more than a face, I never thought that there were people out there who wanted to hear my story. As days came closer to the
Everyone's been going about sharing their gift guides for the month, and then I thought of this. Who wouldn't love gifting themselves beautiful skin to live in. So, here's what it's all about. I got my hands on a wonder product from Foreo - the Luna Mini 2. Obviously, without trying it myself I couldn't be believing anything that normally comes in the advertising campaigns of products. But, this one really does work wonders. A photo posted by Qatar Lifestyle Blogger
I happened to attend a cooking session at Doha Gymkhana where the Executive Chef, Aditya Raj gave us a demo of a very quick, and delicious dish. The recipe was passed out to the attendees in hand outs, and in this day and age, handouts are quick to be lost. I thought to myself maybe I should have this up on the digital world, and what better place than my blog to save it on. Not only myself, but any of you could use it too whenever you'd like. I am not that person who cannot live without tea or coffee. I enjoy both of them from time to time. However, learning about their growth, types, and everything that has to brewing that perfect cup, I wouldn't pass it by just like that. Having been to the world's highest tea plantation just last month, and a year ago travelling through as many tea plantation, and all experiences - tea I could while in Sri Lanka, I was nothing but delighted when an invite for a tea masterclass came in - Why
Yesterday I got the chance to visit The Beacon of Knowledge and Light put together by HBKU at QFIS. The Beacon of Knowledge and Light is an exhibition that focuses on the many aspects of Islam, and the Qur'an. From botany to astronomy, and architecture, there is quite a lot you can discover at this exhibition. The event also runs today from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm. It's a great place to take the kids to as well and is quite informative for the adults as well. Some of the activities that are part
Amidst the hectic month that December was for me, Intercontinental Doha The City came upto me with a staycation idea to get away from the pressures of all the daunting tasks, and deadlines that were looming over me before I travelled. I accepted it right away without even thinking that this would mean more deadlines to meet. :D The idea of a staycation didn't sound bad at all. I have been aiming to cover all kinds of Halal based experiences you can have while in Qatar, and when abroad through
No, I am not going to be giving any makeup lessons here! I ain't no makeup artist! Don't stress over the title too much. I am not revealing any kind of secrets here at all. Other than the fact, that when I walked out of 2016, Nivea got in touch with me to review their latest product launched in the Middle Eastern Market. The best part about it for me was that the first piece in Qatar was given to me. I think that is a big deal! Why would a lady whose face is seldom seen in public be reviewing
Gentle breeze, amazing views, and being together with family (not just me, and Mr. M - but extended family like aunt, cousins, etc) - it doesn't always work out. Well, it happened this time around when I was in Dubai for a short weekend. This was when I was in Dubai last month to review the Aspen Ski Chalet at Kempinski Dubai which I have saved for another post. Now I was on a short trip, and surely I couldn't be going all over the places to meet family. So, we decided to have a meal
