My Experience with Bio Oil

It’s not been a few days since I found out about Bio-Oil but it has been showing drastic results around two weeks from use already. Just like everyone else, for me too starting to use a new product or brand is a big challenge. How will my body react to it?
No matter who recommends it, I know the fact that all of our bodies are different – our skin types are different.

[/vc_column_text][heading]So how did my body react to it?[/heading][vc_column_text]

My skin type is normal. My experience with my trial of Bio-oil was fine and I didn’t find it too greasy. However, this product might make people with oily skin a bit uncomfortable because it might make you feel more oily. Nevertheless it works and that’s the important thing. To add on, it doesn’t just work, but it works wonders.

[/vc_column_text][heading]I have been using it for over 2 weeks now on 4 things:[/heading][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][fancy-ul icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-beaker” color=”Accent-Color” enable_animation=”true”]

  • A scar from a deep cut that happened a long time ago –  Having used for a little more than 2 weeks this has lightened and am sure it will be gone in no time if I keep my consistency.
  •  A scar that remained from Chicken Pox which was like 7 years back. This is taking a bit of time but its still lightened from using it for 2 weeks now.
  • Acne from waxing on the elbow area – This practically disappeared in 3-4 days
  • And a burn mark which has also been almost disappearing.

So for those who have scars and want it gone, I think it would be a great idea to try Bio-Oil as it is nothing to be ingested. More so if it goes along with your skin, I don’t see why you shouldn’t give it a try if you want all your scars gone.

It has also been recommended for those with stretch marks, so why don’t you give it a try and let me know if it works for you as well![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Great review Kay! I battle acne since my teen age years and have developed minor acne scarring on my skin, I will definitely give it a go. Do you know if it improves pigmentation as well?

Looking forward to more beauty reviews!

Yes please do try it out. You can find it in boots. It does say it works with spotting and uneven skin tone thought I have not tried it for pigmentation but I heard Apple cider vinegar is simply miraculous when it comes to reducing the appearance of dark patches on the skin due to hyperpigmentation. It has excellent skin lightening as well as astringent properties that can help restore your skin’s natural color.

Mix equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water. Use this solution to rinse the affected area. Leave it on for two to three minutes, and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy twice a day for a few weeks.
