Here’s the concerns of the week![/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”Dark Circle Under the Eyes” title_align=”separator_align_center”][fancy-ul icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-question-sign” color=”Accent-Color” enable_animation=”true”]

  • How to get rid of under eye dark circles ?

[/fancy-ul][vc_column_text]Unfortunately, you can’t totally get rid of dark circles under the eyes. A lot of the time they are genetic. There are things you can do to diminish their appearance, including drinking plenty of water and lowering your salt intake in your diet to prevent fluid build up under the eye socket. Make sure you use a good eye cream both day and night and massage the product into your eyes using very light massage techniques with your fingertips. Massage is so important to circulation and many people don’t spend long enough massaging products into their face. In addition, look for brightening ingredients such as Liquorice root extract, kojic acid and Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) to help minimise their appearance, and hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and tamarind seed extract like we have in our Elethea Eye Architecture Cream. And try to make sure you get enough sleep![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”Oily Skin and Open Pores” title_align=”separator_align_center”][fancy-ul icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-question-sign” color=”Accent-Color” enable_animation=”true”]

  • My skin its very oily and has open pores. Please advice me any home tips or products.

(Question from Nausheen: Does this person also get breakouts?)
You can use products with AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) to gently cleanse and exfoliate as these will also help minimise your pores. You can also make your own spray using my recipe of 1/3 water, 1/3 aloe juice, 1/3 witch hazel extract – keep it in the fridge and spray any time during the day. Although I don’t always advocate the use of witch hazel as it can be an irritant, I think it really helps to minimise pore size – and this toner recipe that I have developed is really refreshing for hot weather too.

  • Have you developed any products to combat burn marks yet?

[/fancy-ul][vc_column_text]Our products are not medicinal in nature so they may not be as effective on burn marks. However, I am shortly launching an Elethea facial oil whose main component is pure organic Rosehip Oil. If you have a really incredible quality Rosehip Oil, I find the product works really well on scarring, including acne scarring. It may be worth considering trying on burn marks.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”Soft Feet” title_align=”separator_align_center”][fancy-ul icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-question-sign” color=”Accent-Color” enable_animation=”true”]

  • How to make the feet soft? Have you developed any products in this direction?

[/fancy-ul][vc_column_text]I haven’t focussed on feet skin yet. Heavy emollients, or oils like Emu oil or Olive Oil would be quite good here as the skin is rather thick here. What I would do is soak your feet in a warm tub of Epsom Salts and water. Slough off the dry skin regularly afterwards. Then straight after removing and drying, coat liberally in Olive Oil and wrap each foot in cling film first and then in a warm towel for about 15 minutes. Remove and massage the rest of the oil in. Best to do this before sleeping![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][heading]That’s it for today! More Questions? Put them down here in comments and we will get back to you with answers. Until then, Goodbye![/heading][/vc_column][/vc_row]
