What Qatar means to Me

So having been invited to join the link-up party with fellow Qatar bloggers Pinay Flying High, Follow Your Sunshine, and others with a post of what Qatar means to me, here I am trying to put into words what this country really means.

Having been born, and brought up here in simple words – Qatar is home to me.

It has a special place in my heart. No matter where I travel, how beautiful the place maybe, at the end of it all I yearn to be back in Doha.

Qatar is a diary of my childhood memories – the parks I used to run, play as a toddler, and all those ice creams I ate.

Qatar is where I went to School & University. Qatar is where I became who I am!

Qatar is where I made, and met most of my best friends.

Qatar is where I got married, and Qatar is the place I continue to want to stay even as I grow old.

Qatar is the home not only in my dreams. Qatar is where I feel safe. Qatar is the place I love! Qatar is really home to me!

I loved reading this. It’s so nice hearing that the place where you grew up still holds such an important place in your heart. So many people move away from their home cities these days, but I think it’s really special when you can’t help but be drawn back 🙂

Thank you for stopping by! It’s also nice to find someone that loves the place as much as I do even though you initially come here scared about what it’s really going to be like. 🙂

    Beautiful Khansa!
I am always very curious as to how Doha is seen by someone who grew up here and you’ve been able to give me such a vivid description. 🙂

It’s wonderful to read about Doha from someone who has lived here all her life. That last picture is so pretty. You have managed to catch Doha in it’s finest. 😀

Ever since I came to the UAE, every day has been busier than the other, then I checked into my room at Movenpick JBR today and instantly felt very relaxed.
This sunset is a testament to it, isn't it so pretty? What do you think?

One word that comes to your mind when you see this pic?The colors of fashion and the warmth of food comes together quite subtly at @harpersbazaarcafe in @citywalkdubai
As we had lunch there today, the atmosphere was more than relaxing.
Sometimes I wonder what it is I do with my blog. I think I found an answer to it . I collect experiences and carefully curate them to create a little museum of my memories with you right here.
