Qatar is a country which is perfect for a family holiday. The Qatar Tourism Authority are always on the task of bringing amazing experiences for the families to enjoy together. With the summer being its harshest during this month, an impressive entertainment city has been brought to Doha.
Housed at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center also known as the DECC, this is by far the best and the largest summer festival Doha has seen till date.
Obviously, for those who havent heard of it and for those who have heard, and want to know what its all about, here’s more on it for you.
There are two kinds of entry tickets – one priced 15 QAR which is a basic entry ticket, and then you can pay as per the ride you want to go on.
The other one is a 120 QAR VIP ticket which lets you go on a ride as many times as you want
There’s something for all ages – rides for small kids, and adults alike.
There is live entertainment with games such as musical chair happening on stage.
Famous Ipad and Mobile based games like Angry Birds, and Candy Crush are part of the Entertainment City as life size physical games , and on the devices installed as well providing both off the device and digital entertainment.
A spiderman stand has been installed which tests children’s high jumping skills.
A hot air balloon ride has been installed for small kids who weight below 20 kg.
Bumper car rides have been installed in both sizes – one for adults and one for kids.
Gokarting is also a main attraction for teenagers and grown ups. Make sure to where closed shoes while you visit the DECC so you can avail this ride.
There is a great food court area offering plenty of delicious eatables from mini pancakes to biriyanis, karaks, and masala chais.
The summer festival is not just limited to the entertainment city. Lots of offers are going around in malls, as well as hotels.
